Operational excellence is a cornerstone of success across industries. Companies are trying multiple avenues to improve processes, increase efficiency, and deliver high-quality products and services to customers. The literature discussed in this paper is related to operational excellence. It reviews how organizations can make use of quality tools to enhance their operational performance. This paper throws light overcritical principles, methodologies, and best practices associated with each quality tool and offers practical recommendations for implementing them effectively in industry settings based on the secondary data. The study shows that adopting a systematic approach to quality management and embracing tools such as Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Six Sigma, Lean, Total Quality Management (TQM), and Continuous Improvement (CI), organizations can achieve higher levels of operational efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
